Overview

What is Positive Behaviour Support?

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based approach that seeks to understand why behaviours occur and develop practical strategies that improve quality of life. Rather than focusing on the behaviour itself, PBS looks at communication, environments, routines, health, relationships and skill development to create meaningful, lasting change.
